Melani’s career journey started in pediatric nursing before attending French pastry school in 2015. With over 20 years of experience in the catering and restaurant industry, she established her own catering company, Epicurean Delights, more than two decades ago. This allowed her to pursue her culinary passion while being present at home to raise her family.

In 2017, Melani opened Flour-ish on the square in downtown Conroe, focusing on serving both the people who work there and the local community. Guided by values of respect and creating a safe environment for learning and growth, Flour-ish strives to promote community through the creation of beautiful and unique products using the finest ingredients. Melani is also dedicated to teaching culinary skills, conducting cooking classes at her home and at Flour-ish.

Apart from her culinary pursuits, Melani is passionate about missions and has participated in several trips to Africa, Guatemala, Honduras, and Turkey, providing medical assistance. During her leisure time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her animals, including a couple of steers, a few chickens, and three dogs named Molly, Oreo, and Josephine. Melani has been happily married to Curtis for over 30 years. They have two sons: Justin and Noble. Justin, who recently graduated from Hillsong College in Sydney, Australia, is pursuing a career in Youth Ministry with his wife Kealy Jane and their new baby, Maverick. Noble, who oversees the family’s commercial real estate business and is recently married to Peyton, enjoys everything outdoors with their two dogs.
